Former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has lost Kate, his wife of 35 years.
The former coach of Togo and Mali’s football teams, who alongside his late wife, Kate, gave out his daughter, Ifeyinwa in marriage March 2015, extolled the virtues of his spouse. In his words, “She is more like a sister to me and was the rock behind me and everything I do. My love for her was at first sight.”
The former football player and captain of Nigeria’s national team disclosed that she had been ill for a while, and that he is still in great shock over the loss.
Kate passed on last night in the United States.
He however revealed that the burial arrangements will be made public in the coming weeks.
