A young Police Corporal, identified as, Agi Elias has allegedly committed suicide after failing his promotional examination. The corporal attached to the Safer High way patrol of the Lagos State Police command was found dead in his car with some tablets and suspected poisonous substance, reports lailasblog.com.
The Corporal has just concluded his promotion course in the Police Training School (PTS), Ikeja, from Corporal to Sergeant. The Promotional course came to an end on Monday and sources claimed that the deceased took his life as he did not do well in the just concluded examination.
A police source revealed that the tablets and poisonous substance littered around his corpse in his car. The Police Officer said his body has been recovered and deposited at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) mortuary.
